Georgetown grad students do not have such a stipulation. I wish there were grad student housing on campus as well though. It's great for students to be so close to classes and in an environment together. The real problem is -- affordable housing in our country -- not just for undergrads. It's insane. I have a friend who works as a contractor - since she is not a military contractor - she gets paid in the low 30s in spite of having 15 + years experience. She cant afford a $17-$1900 one bedroom rent -- a price that now applies to studios too in DC. How crazy is this cost? What is going on?
